What is Sprint?
Scrum process consists of successive Sprints no longer than one month. Sprint is the heartbeat of a Scrum team. All activities in Scrum take place in the Sprint. Such that, the development process resulting with the delivery of the works determined in the planning meeting as an applicable software in adequate quality to the client and all other Scrum meetings take place in the Sprint.
Today, most Scrum teams choose one- or two-week Sprint times. These short times provide the teams with the flexibility and agility advantage. Scrum teams determine the Sprint times as they begin to develop products, decide on the start and end days and times, and then run the Sprints without any break. For example, let’s think of a team that runs a Sprint for a week and starts Sprint on Monday morning and ends Friday afternoon. Even if the team does not finish some of the planned works, they end the Sprint on Friday and proceed with a new planning on Monday morning by starting Sprint again under any circumstances.
